PaciArte contemporary è lieta di presentare la nuova mostra dell’artista Michal Macku, famoso in tutto il mondo per le tecniche da lui create: gellage e glass gellage. L’artista, attraverso la sua personale tecnica di manipolazione della fotografia, indaga nuove forme espressive. Utilizzando il proprio corpo si mette a nudo e incontra la sua parte spirituale. Tutto questo traspare nei suoi lavori, che attraverso l’uso del bianco e nero su vetro, sembrano sospesi in una dimensione senza tempo. In occasione della sua mostra saranno esposti per la prima volta tutti i glass gellage da lui creati. Questo permetterà al visitatore di comprendere meglio la sua tecnica, che consiste in una complessa rimozione chimica dell’emulsione di gelatina dalla sua pellicola fotografica per trasferirla su vetro, dando vita alla fotografia-scultura. All’inaugurazione, a cui parteciperà l’artista, verrà presentato il catalogo edito da PaciArte con testo critico a cura di Miriam Tognazzi.

PaciArte contemporary is glad to present the new exhibition by Michal Macku, renowned all over the world for his unique techniques: gellage and glass gellage.
The artist investigates new expressive ways using his personal photography manipulation process.
Through the use of his own body, he lays himself bare, thus uncovering his spiritual part.
All this betrays from his works, which, using black and white on glass, seems to float in a timeless dimension.
For this exhibition, and for the first time at all, all the glass gellages he created will be on show, allowing the visitor to better understand his technique,
a complex chemical removal of the gelatin emulsion from the photographic film, in order to transfer it on glass, thereby creating the sculpture-photography.
The artist will attend the varnishing day, on which occasion will also be presented the catalogue, published by PaciArte, featuring a critical text edited by Miriam Tognazzi.
